I have even talked to a music company and the representative said that he’s had his same mac for 5 years, but his wife has been through two or three windows computers in that span of time. That is just absurd! Yay for Mac though!
I have worked on Macs at school and have been able to complete my assignments with no problems at all. As far as Windows goes, I have a Gateway and it went down in the middle of last month as I was trying to prepare for a composition jury (I am a music composition and technology student) and I had to take a lowsy incomplete because the computer went down and lost a lot of information. I have gone through two PCs in the last three years. Spent $1400 too much for two computers. I’m going mac!!
@CrazyGC66 Don’t need them…Macs come with the real deal right out of the box. Windows just gets a bunch of junk when you first buy them. And games? Don’t really play that many myself; I do more music production so Mac is my preference. I’m glad I switched away from all that windows bloatware, instability and cluttered GUIs
i dont see why people compare these all the time, mac and pc are made for different things, personally pc rapes shit and will ALWAYS lead the video game market for computers, macs are for different kinds of artists.

I use iMovie09 and Final Cut Express to make my Youtube videos.

I also use XP on my old computer, which is used as a fileserver in my home.

first of all i do not think windows (xp) is “life without walls” because if you do not have a fireWALL then your computer gets a terrible virus and then crashes, at least in xp. but 7 is awsome!

Windows: Customizable,Great gaming, Very Compatible,Tons Of programs and software available.

Why do you want me to hate Mac’s if I know a PC? Mac’s are for people who are creative (like me). So why do you want me to HATE mac and LIKE a virusy OS? Like…. I like Mac’s so you are able to know a computer to have a Mac. My grandfather doesn’t know a PC OR Mac so i just want to buy him a Windows….. Like, I started with Windows. You SHOULD buy Windows IF you don’t now either operating system (and that’s what I used to learn a PC). Recently, I learned a Mac and LOVE it, and now I own a Mac
