You gotta wonder if it will run Garry’s mod though.. I too am a Mac user, and am on bootcamp currently.

My fellow Mac user, I bring good news.
Valve announced not too long ago that they are making Steam, FOR MAC! They’re porting L4D, L4D2, Team Fortress 2, the Half-Life series, and the Portal series to Mac. Estimated release date is sometime this April.
By the way, I’m not a bot. Google “Valve for Mac MacRumors”.

  6. SlurpSilencer Says:

  7. spadastunter Says:

  8. Conflagration911 Says:

Thats why you pay $50 more for the antiglare screen my friend.

  9. twizy123 Says:

  15. ki11joy92 Says:

well maybe to you but i can tell.

  16. Zangetzu33 Says:

Who the fuck see the difference anyway ?

i also have a game rig with quadcore and a geforce gtx280, and still for some games the Visual diff is unnoticeable to the eye !

  17. ki11joy92 Says:

becuase i dont have a stupid ripp off of a stupid mac.
and besides i got a gtx 260 now so beat taht shit s0n..

and wtf is AAS?..you mean AA? well the 9600gt only does 8xAA/AF so it aint that good.

  18. Zangetzu33 Says:

why dont u try the highest res!
i have the older 2.5Ghz core 2 duo macbook pro and i can go up to 1440×900, Highest AAS, etc.

maybe you need to dl better drivers from laptopvideo2go.
then, believe me, your com will be a newer machine!

  19. hotboyfriend55 Says:

does it heat up when playing? macbook pro is the best laptop but its so costly :(

  20. TehAw3x Says:

No. What? Why would that every happen.

  21. MortalLuc Says:

I have the exact same Macbook Pro! Good to see that L4D runs flawless on it through Bootcamp. I think I’m gonna buy the game soon!

  22. ki11joy92 Says:

    i got a 9600gt and i can run it @ 1280×1024 @ max settings and 8xAA/AF and get like 75fps+

  23. FaisalSalman20 Says:

hey i bought the macbook pro 13 inch base model and i cna play the game fine!!! all high settings except the multicore rendering needs to be turned off :/

  24. asphyxiafeeling Says:

You should look at the video cards in question (the 9400M and the 9600M GT) and google their performance. The 9400M is integrated and has inferior performance. it’s still pretty good though, you could definitely run L4D on medium settings for like 40+ fps. just make sure you run through bootcamp and not parallels.

  25. Kromius99 Says:

no, lag is delayed reaction to stuff… fps is frames per second…

lag, is known as latency, it makes delayed reaction in games like i said..

frames per second on the other hand is how fast your comp is… if it can handle the game..
